The short answer is Yes, but it depends. We have the answer for why is that the case.
First thing to mention is the IATA Guidance Document for Passengers Travelling with Lithium Batteries – 2025 (link)
International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the global entity that represents, leads, and serves the global airline industry. They're formed by multiple airlines across the globe with a mission to make it possible for you to buy a ticket from one airline and fly internationally on a smooth, standardized, and safe journey, this is including setting safety standards and regulations for dangerous goods such as lithium-ion battery.

In summary, the recent IATA document regarding lithium battery categorizes Airwheel luggage as 'small vehicle', considered as one of the portable electronic devices (PED), which is allowed as carry-on luggage if these conditions are met
- The lithium-ion battery watt-hour (Wh) is under 100 Wh, this info must be visible on the battery so it can be checked by airline operators
- The lithium-ion battery installed must be removable and carried in your handbags
Airwheel luggage specifications are generally compatible with carry-on luggage requirement

The standard Transportation Security Administration (TSA)-aligned carry-on size is 22 x 14 x 9 inches, and most airline carry on luggage weight allowance is 7-10kg for economy.
Based on our Airwheel luggage specifications, you should be able to bring SQ3, SQ3S, SE3, SE3SL and SE3miniT on board as a carry-on luggage.
These are airlines that we confirm with their regulation documents stating that they allow Airwheel or small vehicles on board, but we strongly recommend you to always confirm with the airline again before travel if these information are still true. (last update: 12 Dec 2025)

Always confirm with the airline first before you bring Airwheel luggage with you because...
Apart from TSA conforming weight and dimension allowance and IATA lithium-ion battery guideline, airlines can also have stricter regulations for PEDs and small vehicles to maintain higher safety standard.
These are airlines that specifically has rules or regulations prohibiting small vehicles such as Airwheel luggages and other micro personal mobility vehicles on board. Again, we strongly recommend you to reach out to the airline to recheck their rules and conditions for the carry-on luggage before travel. (last update: 12 Dec 2025)
